Bachelor (For International Applicants)

All completed applications should be submitted not later than 17 June (for Semester I, September intake) or 11 November (for Semester II, February intake) of the year.

  • General Entry Requirements 

    • Completed and passed at least 12 years of education with the following qualifications:
    -National High School Certificate or
    -A Level or
    -Grade 12 or
    -Diploma level

    • Advanced Subsidiary/ Predicted/ Provisional/ Mock/ Expected result are not acceptable

    • Obtained CGPA of 3.0 of 4.0

    • Applicants may be required to undergo an interview and/or test for certain programmes before being accepted by the respective faculty.

    • Prospective students may check specific requirements for each programme at Special Entry Requirements
  • English Language Requirements

    Effective from February 2019 intake, applicants must achieve one of the qualifications listed below:
    (a IELTS Academic- band of 5.0 and above; or
    b) TOEFL - PBT (score of 500), CBT (173), IBT (60) and above; or
    (c) MUET - Band of 3 and above; or
    (d) PTE Academic - Score 41 and above in Pearson Test of Academic English; or
    (e) A Level - Grade C and above in English for General Certificate of Education, University of Cambridge; or
    (f) O Level - Grade C and above in English for General Certificate of Secondary Education, University of Cambridge; or
    (g) Cambridge Assessment English: First (FCE) - Grade C and above.
  • Programme Structure

    • The academic programme follows the semester system and commences in September (Semester I) and February (Semester II).
    • The medium of instruction is English (for all science based courses).
    • Some programmes in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Faculty of Education, Academy of Malay Studies, and Academy of Islamic studies may use Malay or Arabic Language as medium of instruction.

    Note: A total of 120 - 151 credit hours are required to complete a degree programme.
  • Apply via EMGS Visa Application System
    The Education Malaysia Global Service (EMGS) is a company wholly owned by the Ministry of Education, set up to act as a One-Stop-Centre for the International Student Services (ISS) to facilitate the application for Student Visa.

    • The University will not process applications without the required documents and processing fees.
    • Cash is not acceptable and the processing fee is nonrefundable.
    • In the case of submitting copies of documents, the documents must be certified by your previous school or respective embassy
